Rhiannon is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology. She has extensive experience working with complex trauma in young children (ages 3-6), individuals, and families, having worked in early intervention programs, social service organizations, and within school settings for nearly twenty years.
She uses an integrative, trauma informed, and attachment-based approach. Rhiannon draws on evidence based therapeutic approaches that are specific to her client’s individual needs and goals, while helping them feel safe, heard, accepted, and supported. She is experienced in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy (SFT), narrative therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and therapeutic arts and play.
She is passionate about supporting individuals and families in their efforts to create happy, safe, connected, and fulfilling lives. If you are a parent who is struggling or is concerned about your child’s social, emotional, or behavioural wellbeing, she will collaborate with you to create a plan that meets your unique needs.
Rhiannon values relationships and connection, and loves adventure and challenge! She appreciates nature and can often be found fishing in her free time.
